英文摘要:
Whereas marriage and birth rates predicted suicide rates in the USA in the period from 1969 to 1988 as hypothesixed by the French sociolo-gist,Emile Durkheim, this was not so for orter Pacific Rim nations.The results point to the need for theories of suicide proposed especilly for non- Western nations.
